OUR HISTORY
Taking a look back, Naomi’s House had its beginning before the foundation of the world. As Ms. Billie Bell faced many challenges at a very young age, little did she know that her Father was already preparing her to do great things for His kingdom!
As her life began to take many turns…some good, some not so good… there was a holy drive within her soul that said, “Life has to get better.” But life for her didn’t get better, becoming more and more tragic as she had near-death experiences…one after the other. But, God!
All along the Lord was birthing the Naomi’s House ministry for women. It was through many series of hurts and pains that Billie developed a burden for other women who were suffering as she was. Through it all, she learned how to allow Jesus Christ to become Lord and Ruler of her life. He gave her “beauty for her ashes!” His exchange was far greater than what she was able to give Him.
The Naomi’s House ministry started in 2004 in a private home in Grandview, Missouri, but quickly grew out of that space. Presently, Naomi’s House operates in Grandview out of the Holiday Inn Express located at 128th and East Frontage Road.
Naomi’s House operates through a staff of nine ladies who have accepted the call to minister to women of all walks of life – regardless of race, creed, denomination, or ethnicity.
Even though we were closed during the pandemic, Naomi’s House started its annual Encounter in October of 2022. The Naomi’s House Reunion will be in April. (Date Annual-TBA)
